How much does mediation cost?
At the first information meeting we will ask for some details of your finances. Our present rates are:
- MIAM £125 plus VAT per person. Find out more about what a MIAM is here.
- Joint Mediation Session £175 plus VAT per person
- There is no additional cost for the processing of the C100/Form A Application Form.
- Upon successful conclusion of the mediation, the drafting of the Memorandum of Understanding, Parenting Plan and/or Open Financial Summary: £100 plus VAT per person per document.
Voucher Scheme
The Voucher Scheme is available in England and Wales and if you are eligible the government will contribute £500 towards the cost of your mediation in the form of a voucher.

Voucher Scheme
The Family Mediation Voucher Scheme is a Government funded programme available throughout England and Wales, helping separating families resolve disputes outside of court. It offers financial aid to cover some mediation costs with a focus on issues related to separation, divorce, and child arrangements.
While the Family Mediation Voucher Scheme has a time limit, the government can still contribute up to £500 towards your mediation costs if you qualify. Here’s what makes you eligible:
- Issues involving children: You’re dealing with a disagreement or legal application regarding a child.
- Financial matters tied to children: You have a dispute or application concerning finances related to a child.
- Mutual agreement: Both parties involved must agree to participate in mediation.
Paying Privately
If you don’t qualify for the Family Mediation Voucher Scheme, then family mediation sessions are a private, paid-for service. Often each participant will pay for their own mediation fees.
